Today, the conflict between the family of Zhang Miao and Yao Jia over a 200,000 yuan donation entered its third day, with the destination of the social donations received by the Zhang family becoming a focal point of attention. According to Yao Jia's agent Ma Yanming, the Zhang family received social donations amounting to over one million yuan, but Zhang Pingxuan stated that they only received 100,000 yuan in donations. Yesterday, both the relatives of Zhang Miao and Yao Jia's agent issued statements, pushing the issue of the amount and destination of the donations to the forefront.

**Statement from the Zhang Family: We will not do shameless things**

Yesterday at noon, Zhang Xian posted on his blog "An Explanation of Why Our Family Declared Acceptance of Yao Qingwei's 'Donation' of 200,000 Yuan."

"During the Spring Festival of 2012, someone told us that Yao Qingwei had posted an announcement online saying he was holding 200,000 yuan for our family and asked us to collect it. Since our family is uneducated, we don't usually read newspapers or go online, so after hearing this, we asked someone to verify it online, and indeed such an announcement had been made. Subsequently, we tried to contact Yao Qingwei by phone, but he did not answer..."

The statement continued, "Yao Qingwei's tweets are like dangling a bone in front of us as if we were dogs... Since you announced that you would give us 200,000 yuan, we have come to collect it. Please honor your promise. If you cannot honor it, please delete these tweets and stop deceiving the public."

The statement claimed that declaring acceptance of Yao Qingwei's "donation" of 200,000 yuan was the Zhang family's way of "risking being drowned in criticism" to prove whether Yao Qingwei's related tweets were "meant to be followed through on or just for show." Regarding the current controversy over the destination of the donations, the statement did not elaborate much, only stating, "Please rest assured, netizens, no matter what, we will not do anything shameful." The statement was signed by Zhang Miao's parents and son.

**Agent for Yao Family: Donations to the Zhang Family Exceed One Million Yuan**

Although Yao Qingwei did not appear in the donation dispute, there were still many interview requests asking Ma Yanming to convey Yao Qingwei's voice. Ma Yanming said yesterday that after Yao Jiaxin was executed, Yao Qingwei, who originally had heart problems, developed symptoms of facial paralysis, which later worsened, causing him to drool frequently, while his wife suffered from severe depression. Currently, Yao Qingwei's physical and mental state is truly unable to face the media.

"I read the 'explanation' on Zhang Xian's blog; he cannot face the questioning about the destination of the donations," Ma Yanming said. According to his understanding, the social donations received by the Zhang family exceeded one million yuan, but neither who managed them nor their specific allocation has been disclosed.

Ma Yanming criticized, "Zhang Xian incited conflicts between the two families of deceased individuals to resolve the reputation rights case, gaining benefits as a bystander." On the day of the conflict, he mentioned that he was dissatisfied with the decision not to handle Zhang Xian and originally planned to file a reconsideration with the police, but due to "too many things yesterday," it was not processed.

Regarding the Zhang family's demand that Yao Qingwei either honor the 200,000 yuan donation or delete related tweets, Ma Yanming said, "It won't be deleted; it is Yao Qingwei's record of the entire process." Ma Yanming said that Yao Qingwei's attitude has not changed, "Regardless of where the donations were used, if Zhang Pingxuan can prove that the donations were indeed exhausted, the Yao family will continue to provide assistance. Yao Qingwei says he will help as long as he lives, on the condition that the Zhang family clarifies any false statements."

**Zhang Xian: What does the donation have to do with me?**

"(Social) donations, what do they have to do with me? What do they have to do with Ma Yanming? What do they have to do with the Yao family?" Zhang Xian counter-asked near 7 p.m. last night. He said that his agency relationship with the Zhang family had been terminated, and other matters should be directed to Zhang Pingxuan. Consistent with his previous statements, Zhang Xian believed that donations are very private matters, individual actions, and Wang Hui did not publicly announce an account number. He said that the "explanation" on the blog represents the opinions of Zhang Pingxuan and others, who also signed it, clearly stating the Zhang family's position. Regarding the amount of donations received, Zhang Xian said he had disclosed it, mainly including 540,000 yuan raised by Shanghai scholar Fu Weigang, 220,000 yuan from the "Zhang Miao Child Growth Fund" initiated by journalist Zhou Bin, 100,000 yuan in cash donated to Wang Hui in Shanghai, and some other donations.

Last night, the reporter repeatedly contacted Zhang Pingxuan, but his phone was off.

**Fu Weigang: Donated 400,000 yuan via insurance**

At around 7 a.m. yesterday, Shanghai scholar Fu Weigang, who had donated to the Zhang family, sent out a tweet, "Because of the 200,000 yuan issue, so many people are indignant again, wanting me to make a statement and asking about the whereabouts of the donations. Please, could you read my previous posts carefully while seeking justice? I believe I have explained everything before." Checking his Weibo post from July 14th last year, it read, "A total donation amount of 545,000 yuan. Of which, 400,000 yuan was donated via insurance, with the beneficiary being Zhang Miao's son Wang Siyu, 100,000 yuan was donated to his parents, and 45,000 yuan was donated to Wang Hui." Later, it was reported that Wang Hui donated the 45,000 yuan further.
