The statement claimed that declaring acceptance of Yao Qingwei's "donation" of 200,000 yuan was the Zhang family's way of "risking being drowned in criticism" to prove whether Yao Qingwei's related tweets were "meant to be followed through on or just for show." Regarding the current controversy over the destination of the donations, the statement did not elaborate much, only stating, "Please rest assured, netizens, no matter what, we will not do anything shameful." **Agent for Yao Family: Donations to the Zhang Family Exceed One Million Yuan**
Although Yao Qingwei did not appear in the donation dispute, there were still many interview requests asking Ma Yanming to convey Yao Qingwei's voice.
