Share to: Comments welcome, I want to comment. Sanitation worker Mr. Lü said that at around 5 o'clock yesterday morning, when she came to this area to clean, she noticed that the sewage manhole on the road looked different from usual. On closer inspection, she realized the manhole cover was missing. After a careful count, there were a total of six. "I quickly called the municipal department. The streetlights on this road are very dim, and if I didn't remind everyone promptly, surely some vehicles would fall in," said Mr. Lü.
Xi'an News Network - Xi'an Evening Post reported that weaving around poles is usually a performance by car enthusiasts occasionally at the racetrack. However, yesterday morning, more than a dozen warning stakes were placed on the road. It turned out that six manhole covers were stolen overnight on Kexue Road, forcing municipal workers to place warning stakes to remind passing vehicles to avoid them.
At 9:15 AM, the staff of the High-tech Zone Municipal Company installed new manhole covers for the uncovered wells, and the warning stakes were immediately removed. The dense warning stakes made the scene resemble a slalom course.
Mr. Han, an employee of the High-tech Zone Municipal Company, told reporters that after receiving the report, they rushed to the scene and placed two or three warning stakes next to each sewage well to prevent accidents. Mr. Han said, "The municipal department spends two or three hundred yuan to buy one such manhole cover. The loss is small, but if any unexpected consequences occur, the problem would be serious."
At 8:30 AM yesterday, I saw multiple warning stakes irregularly placed on the road in front of the south gate of Maple Leaf Garden Community on Gaoxin Road. Passing vehicles slowed down to avoid them (as shown in the picture). Due to the relatively dense distribution of the manholes, it looked like a "slalom" race at first glance.
