Female sanitation worker, Li Shuanglan, returned a golden bracelet found on the road to its rightful owner.

While sweeping the streets, Li Shuanglan, who resides in Zhujia Mountain Community of Shamao Street in Hannan District, found a golden bracelet worth 6800 yuan. However, she did not keep it for herself. Instead, she went through great lengths to find the owner and eventually returned the item.

Li Shuanglan, aged 40, is a regular cleaner at the Weihu Road Sanitation Office under the Hannan District Urban Management Bureau, earning only 850 yuan per month. At around 2 PM on the 27th, while cleaning near the China Unicom business hall on Hannan Avenue, Li Shuanglan noticed a golden bracelet lying on the pavement outside a nearby sundries shop. Seeing no one around to claim it, she picked up the bracelet and entered the shop to inquire. The shop owner said that three people had come to buy things within the last half hour.

For safety reasons, Li Shuanglan decided to call 110 to report the situation. Subsequently, she and the sundries shop owner worked together to eliminate suspects one by one, eventually identifying the owner as Mr. Li from a nearby washing machine specialty store.

"Did you just go shopping at the sundries store?" "Yes, I bought a pack of cigarettes." "Have you lost anything?" It was only then that Mr. Li realized his golden bracelet, which he had been wearing on his wrist, was missing. To confirm ownership, Mr. Li even showed the purchase receipt for the bracelet, which indicated a price of 6800 yuan.

Mr. Li mentioned that the golden bracelet was a birthday gift from his wife, which he had kept at home and rarely worn until this year's Spring Festival.

It is reported that in January this year, while cleaning, Li Shuanglan also found a new mobile phone worth nearly 2000 yuan, which she also returned to the rightful owner.
