No matter how much money a person has, it is useless. Living happily is the best. If we can get out, we will go home and farm. As long as our family is safe and sound, that is the best." These were words Hu Jingxiang had never heard before, and she emotionally said, "After we get out, I will give you a daughter."
According to reports from the Yangcheng Evening News, Hu Jingxiang started working at a garment factory in Huangjiang, Dongguan, Guangdong when she was 16 years old. At the age of 20, she returned to her hometown and met Liu Yunsheng, who had been discharged from military service, and they got married. After marriage, the couple opened a small grocery store called "Shuaishuai" on the环城路in Jiegu Town, Yushu County, Qinghai.
Liu Yunsheng's younger brother called in an excavator, which sped up the digging process. At around 7 pm that evening, the couple was finally rescued.
The scene was pitch black. About an hour later, Liu Yunsheng's younger brother, Liu Yun Dong, arrived. He shouted his brother's name towards the rubble. The young couple shouted "Help!" in unison, finally getting the attention of people outside.
With hope for survival, but the oxygen in the narrow space became increasingly scarce. During the wait, Liu Yunsheng could no longer hold on and wanted to sleep.
