A woman was covered in blood, lying on the ground while the police were examining the scene. At 8:30 AM yesterday morning, in Yan Chuan Community, Song Gang Street, Bao'an District, a woman was killed on the spot after being slashed multiple times by her boyfriend because she refused to elope with him. After receiving the report, Bao'an police quickly arrived and arrested the suspect on the spot.
The reporter quickly arrived at the scene and saw that in the alley between two residential buildings, a young woman was lying face down on the ground, her body covered with a mat, and there was still a large pool of blood on the ground. Several policemen were taking photos at the scene for evidence collection and placed a brand new bloody kitchen knife into an evidence bag.
According to Mr. Lei, a nearby resident, around 8:30 AM, he was watching TV at home when suddenly he heard a loud argument from downstairs. He looked out and saw a young couple arguing in the alley below, with another woman trying to mediate. As the argument became more intense, the man drove away the mediating woman. "After the mediating woman left, the arguing woman also prepared to leave. Unexpectedly, the man pulled her back, not letting her go. The woman tried to break free, but suddenly the man took out a kitchen knife and slashed her back. The woman fell to the ground shouting for help, but the man continued slashing her neck several times until she could no longer move and died on the spot," Mr. Lei said. The assailant did not flee, but instead stood there with a blank stare. Soon, a security patrol officer arrived and called the police, and the assailant was eventually controlled and taken away by the police.
From relevant departments, we learned that the suspect is surnamed Zhang, originally from Chongqing, unmarried, and previously worked at the Xigao Factory in Yan Chuan Community but is currently unemployed. The deceased is surnamed Yang, from San Gu Village, Lin Shui County, Sichuan Province, unmarried but had a son with someone else, and worked at Xigao Factory before her death.
According to Zhang's confession, he met Yang in October last year and they became a couple. Zhang had repeatedly asked Yang to elope with him and leave Shenzhen, but was rejected by Yang. Eventually, at around 8:00 AM yesterday, Zhang bought a kitchen knife at Huijiale Mall in Yan Chuan Community, went to Yang's residence, and demanded that she elope with him, which was again refused. After another heated argument, Zhang took out the kitchen knife and slashed Yang to death.
