A woman was found covered in blood, lying face down on the ground as police were investigating the scene. Yesterday at 8:30 AM, in Yan Chuan community of Song Gang street in Bao'an district, a woman was killed on the spot after being slashed multiple times by her boyfriend who she refused to elope with. After receiving the report, Bao'an police quickly arrived and arrested the suspect on the scene.

According to reports from Jingbao (reporter Shi Lei Xu / article Cheng Jiang / photo), upon arriving at the scene, we saw a young woman lying face down in an alley between two residential buildings. Her body was covered with a mat, and there was still a large pool of blood on the ground. Several policemen were taking photos for evidence at the scene and confiscated a brand new, blood-stained kitchen knife into an evidence bag.

Mr. Lei, a nearby resident, said that around 8:30 AM, he was watching TV at home when he suddenly heard a loud argument from downstairs. He looked out and saw a young couple arguing in the alley below, while another woman was trying to mediate. The argument became more intense, and the man chased away the mediating woman in anger. "After the mediating woman left, the arguing woman also prepared to leave. Unexpectedly, the man pulled her to stop her from leaving. As she tried to break free, the man suddenly took out a kitchen knife and slashed her back. The woman fell to the ground screaming for help, but the man then continued to slash her neck several times until she could no longer move and died on the spot," Mr. Lei said. The assailant did not attempt to flee but instead stood beside the body with a blank look. Soon, a security patrol officer arrived and called the police, and the assailant was eventually taken away by the authorities.

From relevant sources, it is learned that the suspect surnamed Zhang is from Chongqing, unmarried, originally worked at Xigao Factory in Yan Chuan Community, and is currently unemployed. The female victim surnamed Yang, from San Gu Village, Lin Shui County, Sichuan Province, is unmarried but has a son with someone else, and previously worked at Xigao Factory.

According to Zhang's confession, he met Yang last October and they became a couple. Zhang had repeatedly asked Yang to elope with him and leave Shenzhen, but was refused each time. Eventually, yesterday morning at around 8 AM, Zhang bought a kitchen knife from Huijiale Mall in Yan Chuan Community, went to Yang's residence, and again requested her to elope with him, which was refused. Following another heated argument, Zhang took out the kitchen knife and killed Yang.
