In her post, Gan Jianling listed the "Ma Family Army" members of the Xinchang Town Health Center. After investigation and verification by a reporter from the Youth League of China, it was found that the eight Ma family members are: Director Ma Zhenggang, Ma Zhenggang's wife Yu Jing, Ma Zhenggang's father Ma Dexun, Ma Zhenggang's father-in-law Yu Yinguang, Yu Jing's cousin Zhang Ping, Zhang Ping's wife Che Haiyan, Ma Zhenggang's aunt Wang Yufang, and Ma Zhenggang's cousin Xiao Wen.

In 1995, Ma Zhenggang passed the examination conducted by the Health Bureau and Personnel Bureau of Jiajiang County and entered the Xinchang Town Health Center with the second-highest score in the county. At that time, Ma Zhenggang's father Ma Dexun and Yu Jing's father Yu Yinguang had already worked at the health center for ten years as attending physicians. Ma Dexun became the vice-director of the health center in 2001 and then director in 2007.

However, the responsible person from the Health Bureau of Jiajiang County, which is the superior administrative department of the health center, explained that there were "historical reasons" involved, as this was due to the marriage between two medical families. He stated that when the eight members of the Ma family joined the health center, they all met the relevant regulations and followed the necessary procedures.

The health center has a total of 18 employees, and eight of them belong to Director Ma's family. On February 10, Gan Jianling, a former employee of the health center, posted this "strange phenomenon" online, titling it "The Ma Family Army Occupies the Health Center."

In 1997, Yu Jing passed the examination conducted by the Health Bureau and Personnel Bureau of Jiajiang County and entered the health center as an obstetrics and gynecology practicing physician. In 1998, due to a lack of accountants at the health center, then-Director Li appointed Yu Jing as the concurrent accountant of the health center. After receiving training, Yu Jing became the only person at the health center with an accounting qualification certificate.

After being reported by local media, this health center located in Xinchang Town, Jiajiang County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province, was suddenly caught up in a storm of public opinion. Some people joked: Has the health center become a "family business"?

When interviewed by reporters, Shi Mingli, the deputy director of the Health Bureau of Jiajiang County, stated that this situation was caused by the historical reason of the marriage between Ma Zhenggang and Yu Jing.

Among the eight members of the Ma family, four are classified as institutional employees, while Ma Dexun, Che Haiyan, Wang Yufang, and Xiao Wen are non-compiled hired personnel. According to data published by the hospital, the Xinchang Town Health Center has a total of 18 employees, among whom 13 are institutional employees and five are temporary hires.

This phenomenon, where one family occupies half of the positions in a town health center with only 18 employees, has left many netizens speechless. Some have even described it as a "husband-and-wife store" or a "family business."
