The largest ETFE membrane structure project in South China - the Ocean Square of the Eastern Overseas Chinese Town has been completed. It is the largest three-layer inflatable ETFE membrane structure project with a rotating opening and closing structure nationwide. The membrane structure provides shading, and it is located to the north of Dameisha Seaside Park in Yantian Port, Shenzhen. Its appearance is scallop-shaped, with a main body length of 128 meters, a span of 53 meters, and a height of about 22 meters. It is a large-span opening and closing structure. The structural form uses a single-layer grid shell lightweight steel structure, and the roof adopts an ETFE pneumatic membrane structure. The upper and lower membranes use 250-micron thick ETFE membrane material (where the outer layer membrane is light blue, and the inner layer membrane is transparent), with a 100-micron thick transparent ETFE membrane material in between. The canopy design sends air that meets the pressure requirements to the ETFE cushion system.
