Our news (intern reporter Xu Bin, correspondent Yang Guang and Ren Jia) - At 12:17 PM on January 28th, the Wuling Fire Brigade received a request for help from the public. A middle-aged man, worried about his rings being stolen during his journey home, transferred two rings from his fingers to his genitalia. Due to the prolonged duration, local tissue became severely engorged, making it impossible to remove the rings. After nearly an hour of intense rescue efforts by the soldiers of the Wuling Fire Brigade and with medical assistance, the two rings were finally successfully removed. Netizens have been discussing the "relative issues outline" and summarized four strategies to deal with them.
After observation, the rescuers considered the special location of the rings and decided against direct demolition due to the risk of secondary injury. The commander decisively decided to head to the hospital for operations in a sterile surgical environment. As time passed, the doctor disinfected the affected area of the injured person and also sterilized the fire department's demolition equipment. Subsequently, medical staff used hemostatic forceps to create a small gap, while the rescue personnel quickly used insulated cutters and the hospital’s amputation clamps to cut through the layers of the two rings and remove them.
