The year 2011 is the opening year of China's "Twelfth Five-Year Plan". In order to better promote technological progress in the textile industry, improve the quality of cotton textile products, promote technical transformation in textile enterprises, increase enterprise benefits, and help cotton spinning enterprises better deal with recruitment difficulties, high cotton prices, and market fluctuations, the China Textile Engineering Society has decided to hold the "Jingwei Stock Cup" Third National Cotton Textile Industry Technical Reform Seminar on December 17-18, 2011. Experts from domestic large-scale well-known cotton spinning enterprises, higher education institutions, and research institutes will be invited to give special lectures, discuss difficulties encountered by enterprises in product development and production practice, share advanced experience, and solve practical problems.

² Experiences and results of technical reforms in reducing labor force per ten thousand spindles in cotton spinning enterprises;
² Discussions on coarse-fine linkage and fine-drawing linkage technology;
² Relationship between semi-finished product quantification, processes, yarn quality, and economic benefits in each process of cotton spinning;
² Exchanging experiences on using intelligent, informational modern control technologies in spinning equipment to improve process control accuracy and reduce energy consumption;
² Upgrading and key component selection in cotton spinning equipment technical reform;
² How to reasonably adjust production processes to improve yarn quality.

IV. Conference Matters:
Conference Time: December 17-18, full-day registration on December 16.
Conference Venue: Guohui Grand Hotel, Chang Le City (Wuhan Road, opposite Walmart Supermarket)
Transportation Routes:
1. Chang Le Zhang Gang Airport: about a half-hour taxi ride (80-100 yuan); or take the airport-Chang Le bus, then take a taxi starting at 5 yuan;
2. Fuzhou Railway Station: take the Fuzhou-Chang Le bus to Chang Le Minyun Bus Station (about 20 yuan)—then take a taxi to the hotel (starting price 5 yuan).
Registration Fee: The conference registration fee is 600 yuan per person (including material fees, conference fees, meal fees, and transportation costs for sightseeing). Accommodation is arranged uniformly in a four-star hotel, with expenses borne by participants (shared room: 170 yuan/person/day; private room: 340 yuan/person/day). Relevant textile machinery and instrument factories need to pay an additional 2000 yuan for publicity fees.
