An increasing number of teams are participating in the Beijing Outward Bound training. In Beijing, it can be said that there is no company that does not know about the Outward Bound Training activities. As more and more teams participate, the Outward Bound companies have become increasingly busy. However, while being busy, we all tend to overlook one point: the requirements for trainees. If phenomena that do not meet the training requirements occur during the Outward Bound training activities, it is very likely that unexpected accidents may happen. The following training guidelines from Beijing Outward Bound Company, Bailing Outward Bound, are provided for your reference.

Site-based Outward Bound Training:

1. Participants should wear loose, sporty clothing and flat shoes; ladies should not wear skirts. Bring clothes for changing in summer.

2. If you usually take medication due to physical discomfort, bring extra medicine.

3. Bring sunscreen and hats as sun protection items in summer.

4. Bring items like mosquito repellent to prevent mosquito bites.

5. If you have habitual ankle sprains or other recurring health issues, actively participate in the warm-up activities of the Outward Bound training to fully stretch all joints and prevent recurrence of old problems.

6. Smoking is strictly prohibited during Outward Bound training. Smoking can damage various safety equipment. During rest periods, coaches will allocate time for smoking at designated locations.

7. Do not fool around during the Outward Bound training period. Follow the coach's instructions and do not climb heights above 1 meter without permission.

8. For projects with high physical demands, inform the coach in advance if you have recent external injuries or surgeries. You can watch and cheer on the sidelines.

9. When participating in high-altitude projects, remove fragile jewelry, items in your pockets, and glasses to prevent them from falling or getting damaged.

10. Before each Outward Bound project, the coach will first introduce the rules and key actions. Listen carefully.

Field-based Outward Bound Training:

1. For mountain-climbing projects, you can bring some fruit candies like dried plum. Some people may experience dizziness when climbing mountains. Sit down to rest, eat a piece of fruit candy, and wait for recovery before gathering at the meeting point.

2. During bonfire parties, those wearing contact lenses should stay away from the fire or remove their lenses.

3. Field terrain is complex. When climbing mountains, pay attention to the terrain underfoot, ensure stability before moving forward, and watch out for branches or plants that might scratch you. Do not rush; observe the terrain and move steadily.

4. Drink water slowly in small sips during outdoor activities to prevent stomach discomfort due to heavy exercise. When feeling dehydrated, drink water little by little.

5. In case of sudden rain in summer, find a safe place nearby to wait. Keep your phone away from rain and avoid making calls during thunderstorms.

6. Maintain distance with other team members and do not leave the group alone to prevent getting lost.

Closing Remarks:

The Outward Bound training activities organized by Outward Bound companies are learning and exercise opportunities provided by the organization to employees. This kind of spiritual investment far outweighs material investment because experiential Outward Bound training allows everyone to feel the cohesion of the team, enhance collective honor, challenge oneself, improve leadership, understand the importance of execution, discover potential, strengthen intimacy between employees and between employees and leaders, etc. It is hoped that participants will actively engage and fully immerse themselves, reaping various benefits. These are the welfare in terms of abilities created by the organization for employees. It is hoped that trainees will study seriously. Participating in such activities is also a form of mental relaxation, enjoying the fun of nature with a pleasant mood, as Outward Bound training bases are usually located amidst green mountains and clear waters. Through the humorous explanations of the coach and physical exercise, one can unleash childlike innocence and return to nature.
