The International Electric Power and Electrical Engineering Exhibition to Appear at the Expo Exhibition Hall This Month
The Shanghai International Electric Power Equipment and Technology Exhibition and the Shanghai International Electrical Equipment Exhibition, hosted by the China Electricity Council and co-organized by the Shanghai Electric Power Industry Association, will be grandly held at the Shanghai Expo Exhibition Hall from the 21st to the 23rd of this month.
This exhibition covers an area of 25,000 square meters and gathers approximately 600 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions showcasing their advanced, efficient, and energy-saving equipment and solutions. The exhibits involve a series of products such as various types of transmission and distribution, power generation equipment, electric power dispatching systems, electric power automation technology, information systems, control systems, and testing of electric power equipment, instruments, and meters. In addition to high-end enterprises from China's domestic industry, overseas exhibition groups from Germany, the United States, and other countries and regions will also display their new brands and high-tech products in front of the audience.

Focusing on the themes of "Smart Grid" and "Electric Power Automation," the 2011 Shanghai International Electric Power and Electrical Engineering Exhibition will host nearly 20 large-scale forums and technical seminars, bringing the latest trends in industry development and the latest technological developments to the industry. At the conference, government agencies and industry authorities will release key data from 2010 and analyze the supply and demand situation for the first half of 2011. Industry elites from home and abroad will also use the seminar to discuss their latest technologies and applications together.

Experts will jointly explore industrial automation methods and ways to improve energy efficiency, comprehensive energy-saving solutions for the power industry, and intelligent substation technology and applications.
The International Electric Power and Electrical Engineering Exhibition (EPChina/EPShanghai) started in 1986, co-organized by Adsale Exhibition Services Co., Ltd., and alternates annually between Beijing and Shanghai. It is the longest-running and largest brand electric power and electrical engineering exhibition in China's electric power industry.
