The Shiquan County Education and Sports Bureau has dismissed him from his position as principal.
According to reports, on March 26 this year, Li Huaisong had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old junior high school girl from his school at his home. On April 25, the girl noticed bleeding and informed a teacher about the incident. The teacher was shocked and immediately reported it to the Shiquan County Education and Sports Bureau.
"When I received the report, I was extremely shocked and angry," said Dong Sangtian, director of the Shiquan County Education and Sports Bureau yesterday. The bureau immediately formed a three-person investigation team to conduct an initial investigation at the Third Middle School. After interviewing relevant informants and parties involved and learning about the preliminary situation, they quickly reported the case to the county public security bureau that same night. On April 28, the Party Committee meeting of the Education and Sports Bureau decided to dismiss Li Huaisong from his position as principal of the Third Middle School due to his suspected criminal offenses, and announced this decision at a general assembly for all teachers at the Third Middle School.
It is understood that Li Huaisong is 48 years old, divorced, and was transferred to serve as principal of the Third Middle School around 2007. This is a junior high school with three grades and over 800 students.
According to Yang Lun, Director of the Shiquan County Public Security Bureau, Li Huaisong was criminally detained on suspicion of rape on April 26, and granted bail on May 3. A police officer handling the case introduced that the victimized girl is currently recuperating at home. The case is still under further investigation. (Editor: SN034)
