In recent years, every Christmas, a Santa Claus figure appears in Liu Miao Village in Shandong, China, driving a donkey cart to deliver gifts to the village children. This "Grandma Santa" is named Mu Lin'ai, an American born in China. After distributing the gifts, Mu Lin'ai also receives a large number of hand-drawn greeting cards from the children. She says, "When I give them love, I also receive their love in return."
