Zhuzhou News - After arguing with his girlfriend, Zhou's bad mood led to him disobeying traffic control while driving, and he even slapped a female police officer hard on the face. Currently, driver Zhou has been given an administrative detention penalty of 15 days.

On the evening of May 20th, long-term traffic control was implemented at the Yangtze River Square in Tianyuan District, Zhuzhou City. Female police officer Liu Huini from the first team of the Tianyuan Traffic Police Brigade was deployed to enforce duty on this road section. At 7:30 PM, a gray Chevrolet car with the license plate number Xiang BD8062 drove along Tiantai Road from west to east and stopped in the left-turn lane waiting for the red light. Due to traffic control, vehicles were not allowed to turn left. After Officer Liu Huini explained the situation to the driver, Zhou, she asked him to go straight instead. Zhou claimed that it was a red light and he could not turn left. Officer Liu Huini repeatedly explained that due to ongoing traffic control, drivers should follow the on-site instructions. However, Zhou still refused to comply. When the left-turn signal turned green, Zhou forcibly turned the car left. Seeing that the vehicle had already started moving, attempting to stop it would be dangerous, so Officer Liu Huini could only watch as the car drove away.

A surprising scene followed. The car stopped after traveling about five to six meters after turning. Driver Zhou got out of the car and walked directly towards Officer Liu Huini. Nearby officers noticed something was wrong and tried to intervene but were shaken off by Zhou. When Zhou reached Officer Liu Huini, he slapped her hard across the face. "At the time, I just felt dizzy, everything went black, and I almost fainted," said Officer Liu Huini when the reporter met her yesterday. There was still a noticeable large bruise on her left cheekbone.
