It cannot be considered as a complete thought, it is merely an enumeration of ideas because I am preparing a report that requires analyzing the Chinese market.

Nowadays, all sorts of strange things can be summarized as "something with Chinese characteristics." I've complained about this before for those who are interested, but I won't elaborate here.
However, strangely enough, when it comes to the most innovative web 2.0 field, this much-needed "Chinese characteristic" in innovation seems to suddenly disappear... Everywhere you can see websites copying each other, and people claiming they want to be China's "myspace, match, eharmoney, youtube, facebook..." This phenomenon is the only Chinese characteristic.
Let's think about why these American products succeeded? — Because they have their own unique features and demands suited to their national conditions...
1. MySpace is a place brimming with American teenage culture. The rooms of American teenagers are just like their MySpace pages, covered with various messy posters and photos... They love parties, love wearing sexy clothes, making funny faces, taking intimate photos, and showing them off.
