University freshman Xia Ting (played by Han Hyo-joo) develops an inexplicable liking for Joo Seok (played by Lee Young-hoon) whom she accidentally meets on the road. After finding out that Joo Seok works part-time at an old bookstore near the school, Xia Ting keeps coming up with clever excuses to appear by Joo Seok's side to express her affection. To get closer to Joo Seok who loves riding his bicycle for leisure, Xia Ting starts learning how to ride a bike in a clumsy but determined manner. Naturally, Joo Seok becomes her friend and coach. As they share the painful traces of their sorrowful pasts, slowly, a sweet yet naive love begins to grow in their hearts. Thus begins their journey... On the Road with a Bicycle.
