Disassemble the inlet valve Q1.

Whirlpool fully automatic washing machines can fill with water, but after reaching the set water level, the water continues to flow in without stopping. How to troubleshoot this issue?

The continuous inflow of water indicates a problem with the inlet valve. There are generally two common causes for this fault:

1. The spring in the inlet valve has weakened elasticity.

When troubleshooting, disassemble the inlet valve and slightly stretch the spring located at the top of the valve core to enhance its elasticity.

2. The rubber cap at the bottom of the inlet valve core is not flat.

When the rubber cap at the bottom of the inlet valve core is uneven or has debris, it will prevent the rubber cap from effectively sealing the pipe opening, causing the water to continue flowing in without stopping. During inspection, disassemble the inlet valve, clean any impurities off the rubber cap, and repair it to make it flat before reassembling it.
