Shenzhen News (reporter Na Wang) - An 8-year-old girl named Xiaoli was injured while playing with a two-wheeled skateboard. Her family then sued the dealer and the venue provider, demanding compensation of 68,000 yuan in total for medical treatment and mental distress.

In the first trial, the court rejected Xiaoli's lawsuit, prompting her family to file an appeal. During yesterday's second trial at the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court, Xiaoli's legal representative argued that there is sufficient evidence proving that the involved technology company was at fault.

However, the defendant technology company claimed that the injury did not occur during training; the toy store owner Yi also stated that he merely provided the cooperative venue for placing the skateboards. The technology company was fully responsible for the sales, teaching training, and safety accident liability of the skateboard products, so this responsibility had nothing to do with him.

During the court-organized mediation yesterday, both parties indicated their agreement. Xiaoli's family proposed a minimum compensation of 50,000 yuan, but the technology company side only agreed to compensate 5,000 yuan, ultimately failing to reach a settlement.
