Fault Symptoms: For the air conditioner model KFR-50LW/BP, the external unit is uncontrollable.
Repair Process: Based on the fault symptoms, a site visit was made to forcibly run the outdoor unit (shorting line 3 and line 1 of the outdoor unit), and it was found that the outdoor unit heating function worked properly, indicating that the outdoor unit was normal. It was determined that there was a fault with the indoor unit's computer board. Upon inspection, the D305TLP741 component on the indoor computer board was found to be normal, but later it was discovered that C303 (104) had a leakage issue. As soon as the air conditioner was powered on, the external unit would run at low frequency. After replacing C303, the air conditioner functioned normally.
Repair Measures: After replacing the C303 capacitor, the fault was resolved, and the test operation was normal.
Summary: Service centers should consistently focus on minor repairs for large appliances, especially for users outside of warranty periods. The indoor computer board should be repaired in a manner similar to repairing a TV motherboard.
