According to the Beijing News (reporter Peng Kefeng) - Yesterday at around 3:00 PM, a 10-year-old boy collapsed and died suddenly while running on the playground at the Bayilizhuang Central Primary School in Chaoyang District. The family informed the emergency personnel that the boy had a history of heart disease. Currently, the police have intervened in the investigation.

It was learned that the boy who suffered sudden death was a third-grade student at Bayilizhuang Central Primary School. He transferred to this school from another one about a month ago. A witness said that at the time of the incident, they were having a physical education class on the playground when a classmate "was running and then fell down. Everyone did not know what happened and thought he just tripped." After the incident occurred, the teacher called for emergency help and reported it to the police. Emergency medical personnel and police officers from the local police station arrived subsequently.

At around 5:00 PM yesterday, when the reporter arrived at the school, two police officers were conducting an investigation inside the school. Multiple teachers and security guards were stationed at the school gate, prohibiting journalists from entering. According to the emergency personnel, after arriving at the scene, they attempted to resuscitate the boy but were unable to save his life. The family who arrived later informed the emergency personnel that the child's surname was Fang, he was 10 years old, and he had previously suffered from heart disease, but there had been no time to inform the school since transferring.

Yesterday afternoon, a responsible person from Bayilizhuang Central Primary School stated that the police are currently investigating the matter and refused to be interviewed by reporters.
