Fang La
Fang La (?-1121), also known as Fang Thirteen, was from Shezhou (today's She County, Anhui Province), or some say from Qingxi, Muzhou (today's Chun'an County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province). He was the leader of the peasant uprising at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty. In October 1120, he led a rebellion in Qixian Village, She County, establishing a peasant regime that included six states and 52 counties in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, and Jiangxi provinces. It had a significant impact at the time, Tongfeng Zhongtai. In the summer of 1121, the uprising failed, Fang La was captured, and executed by the court.
