Cloudy Mist Tea gets its name from being produced in the high mountains shrouded in mist and clouds of Mount Nanyue. It was anciently known as Yueshan Tea. Since the Tang Dynasty, it has been presented to the emperor as a "tribute". It mainly grows in areas such as Guangji Temple, Tiefo Temple, Huagai Peak, at an altitude of 800-1100 meters. The climate here is mild and humid, with soil rich in organic matter, suitable for tea growth. Lu Yu's "Tea Classic" from the Tang Dynasty says: "Tea comes from the south of the mountain, growing in the valleys of Hengshan County", showing that Nanyue Cloudy Mist Tea has long been famous. Cloudy Mist Tea has a tight and fine appearance, curled and elegant. After being infused with boiling water, it is renowned for its green color, strong fragrance, mellow taste, and beautiful shape. It was rated as a quality tea in the evaluation of famous teas in Hunan Province, enjoying a reputation at home and abroad.
