ECNS, November 1 -- According to the report of Hong Kong Sing Tao Daily, the oldest female drug dealer in the United States was sentenced to 18 months in prison for selling cocaine in her living room at home in Florida.

Ola Mae Agee, an 87-year-old pensioner, was arrested in a police sting operation when an undercover detective bought 15 pounds of cocaine from her.

Agee was sentenced to 18 months in prison and she would spend part of her life in prison. She would be almost 90 years old when she is released.

The closed-circuit television footage played in court showed that on April 30 this year, the undercover detective knocked on the back door of Agee's house in Pensacola and then was led into the living room. Agee searched behind her sofa and took out a small amount of cocaine.

This was not Agee's first time being arrested for drug trafficking. In December 1996, she did not contest the charge of possessing a controlled substance; later, she again did not contest another drug trafficking charge and was sentenced to two years of probation. She was 78 years old when the probation period was over. In February 1999, she was arrested again on two charges of possessing cocaine, and one charge was later dropped.
