China News Service, Liuzhou, May 17 (Wei Chongjie, Qin Songjie) - According to information disclosed by the Liuzhou police in Guangxi, on the morning of May 17, when the police were investigating a KTV private room on Xijiang Road in Liuzhou City, the KTV owner attempted to warn drug users and interfere with law enforcement officers. He then stabbed two patrol team members with a knife. On the same day, the violent owner was criminally detained, while eight people suspected of consuming new types of drugs were administratively detained.
At 12:30 AM on May 17, the Jianpan Mountain Police Station of the Liuzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau conducted an inspection at the Hot Wave KTV on Xijiang Road. It was discovered that there were people gathered in the "Hot Fire" private room on the second floor consuming a new type of drug known as "K powder." The police organized forces to control the room, but this was noticed by Ji Mou, the owner of the Hot Wave KTV. Ji ran from the first floor to the second floor, intending to warn those inside the room who were consuming the new type of drug. However, he was stopped by the police officers. Despite their warnings, Ji refused to comply and insisted on forcibly interfering with the law enforcement activities. The officers and patrol team members tried to persuade him to go downstairs, but Ji became agitated and knocked the baton out of a patrol team member's hand. As the officers moved to restrain him, Ji broke free, ran to the kitchen on the first floor, and grabbed a fruit knife about 30 centimeters long. Taking advantage of the patrol team members' distraction, Ji stabbed Aiguang, one of the patrol team members, in the lower back. When another patrol team member, Ayi, saw Aiguang being stabbed and went to support him, Ji stabbed Ayi in the abdomen. At this point, having lost all reason, Ji began swinging the knife towards other officers and patrol team members. Despite their serious injuries, Ayi and Aiguang, along with others, bravely fought to disarm Ji and successfully restrained him.
After controlling Ji, the officers realized that the scene was covered in blood, which had soaked through Ayi’s clothes. The officers immediately called 120, and Ayi was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Ayi suffered from punctures to his liver, lungs, and diaphragm, leading to massive internal bleeding. The hospital quickly assembled several experts to perform surgery on him. After more than four hours of emergency treatment, Ayi's condition stabilized, and he is no longer in danger of losing his life. He remains under intensive care in the hospital.
On the same day, the police arrested 17 people suspected of drug use in the Hot Fire private room at the Hot Wave KTV, and eight tested positive in urine tests. All were administratively detained. The suspect Ji Mou, who forcibly interfered with the law enforcement of the public security personnel and stabbed the patrol team members, was handed over to the Jianpan Responsibility Zone Criminal Investigation Team. Ji has now been criminally detained. The case is currently under further investigation.
