Fujian News - According to Xiamen Business Report: A jeep drove from Quanzhou, Fujian to Xiamen via the expressway, and incredibly, there was a person stuck under the car traveling for twenty to thirty kilometers. Surprisingly, the jeep driver was completely unaware.
Shock: A person dragged under the jeep
At 8 PM on the 15th, when the police arrived at the toll gate exit, they saw a dark green jeep parked by the roadside. Under the car, a man of about 30 years old was lying on the ground with his head facing outward, arms spread out. Due to being dragged over a long distance, his clothes were almost completely torn, with part of the clothing wrapped around his wrist (see title image). Upon inspection, the man showed no signs of life.
Firefighters who arrived at the scene found that one of the man's feet was caught in a gap in the car's exhaust pipe.
The police said that the jeep driver was a middle-aged man around forty years old, driving from Quanzhou to Xiamen via the expressway. A following sedan noticed the abnormality and drove closely behind while reporting it to the police. It wasn't until reaching the Xiang'an Malang Expressway Exit Toll Gate that the jeep was stopped. The police subsequently quickly controlled the jeep driver.
Witness: A blood trail appeared ahead
Mr. Huang, a Xiamen car owner who had been trailing the jeep all the way, recounted the incident to the reporter.
That day, he was driving back to Xiamen from Yongchun. On the Quanzhou Chi Store Expressway section, he noticed something hanging from the bottom of a jeep ahead, swinging constantly. Behind this vehicle, a blood trail had formed.
Mr. Huang quickly accelerated, moved closer, and upon a closer look, he was startled: it wasn't an object but a person! Shocked, he immediately called the police. Along the way, he honked furiously, but the other driver showed no intention of stopping.
At the toll gate, Mr. Huang sped up and stopped his car, working with road administration personnel to stop the jeep. Mr. Huang said that initially, the driver didn't understand why he was being stopped and even got angry, refusing to get out of the car. However, once he did get out and saw the person hanging under his car, he was stunned.
Truth: Hit by the front car and dragged by the rear car

The incident occurred at around 7 PM on the 15th of this month. Shen, a native of Nanping, Fujian, was driving a small car with five people from Nanping to Xiamen. Traveling along the first lane to the Jinjiang section of the Shenhai Expressway, he suddenly saw a figure crossing the road and preparing to climb over the central barrier. Due to high speed, braking was too late, and he collided head-on. After the accident, Shen immediately stopped the car, took a warning sign, placed it behind the car, and called the police. However, what surprised him was that when he turned around, he couldn't find the person he hit, even doubting if he was dreaming. After receiving the alarm, officers from the First Brigade of the Quanzhou Highway Traffic Police arrived at the scene to investigate and search for the victim.
Until 8 PM, the traffic police department received news from Xiamen that a Mitsubishi jeep at the Xiamen Xiang'an Malang Toll Station had a person hanging under it, which had been intercepted. Officers from the Quanzhou Highway Traffic Police rushed to Xiamen Malang. Since the accident happened in Quanzhou and the body was dragged from Quanzhou to Xiamen, the case was transferred between the two local police departments, and the jeep driver, Chen, was taken back to Quanzhou for investigation.
Upon investigation, it was found that at the time of the incident, the jeep was traveling in the first lane alongside Shen's car, approximately 100 meters apart. After Shen's car hit the person, the deceased was thrown into the second lane. The jeep, seeing the sudden brake of the car ahead, quickly swerved into the second lane. Coincidentally, the deceased landed directly under the jeep, with his foot getting caught in the exhaust pipe crevice, and was dragged for twenty to thirty kilometers. After Shen made the call and turned around, he found that the victim's body had mysteriously disappeared.
