Etiquette Style Exhibition
December 28th Expo News: The final of the first Shanghai Secondary Vocational School Student Expo Etiquette Competition was held on December 25th at the Shanghai Aviation Service School. This competition, jointly guided by the Shanghai Expo Bureau, car maintenance knowledge, the Shanghai Education and Health Party Committee, Municipal Education Commission, Municipal Spiritual Civilization Office, Municipal Association for Science and Technology, and the Pudong New Area Education Bureau, was organized by the Shanghai Secondary Vocational School Moral Education Research Institute, co-organized by the "Scientific Life" magazine and the Shanghai Expo Culture Communication Company. Huang Yaocheng, domestic participant advisor of the Shanghai Expo Bureau, attended the final and delivered a speech.
The aim of this competition is to promote the etiquette activities for the Expo in Shanghai secondary vocational schools, advocate civility, green living, harmonious Shanghai, and create a better life in secondary vocational school campuses, promote sustainable urban development concepts, and enhance the quality of citizens.
More than 70 secondary vocational schools in Shanghai participated in the competition. Over a dozen schools that entered the group finals and individual finals underwent knowledge challenge competitions and presentation contests, and showcased occupational etiquette. In various events, secondary vocational school teachers and students demonstrated relatively high levels of technical knowledge and cultural etiquette style.
Finally, after fierce competition, the Shanghai Aviation Service School, Shanghai Public Industry School, and Shanghai Information Technology School won the first prize in the group category; Shanghai Shipyard Technical School, Shanghai Commercial School, and Shanghai Administrative Management School were among five schools winning second prize in the group category; Shanghai Business Accounting School, Shanghai Modern Vocational Technical School, and Shanghai Civil Aviation Secondary Professional School were among nine schools receiving third prize in the group category. Shanghai Information Technology School won first and second prizes for the occupational etiquette exhibition category; additionally, Gu Junjie, Yan Jiayi, Hou Feng, Jin Wenjie, and seven other students won awards in the speech contest category.
