If you don't know what the Alexa global ranking is, I suggest you read the article "What is Alexa Ranking" first. When a specific website is ranked, the traffic data is based on the cumulative total of the site's access records over the past three months. This means that Alexa releases its ranking results every three months, which is commonly referred to as the rank. Its calculation mainly depends on two factors: Users Reach (the number of users visiting) and Page Views (the number of pages viewed). The Alexa system tallies the number of visitors and page views for each website daily, and then calculates the current ranking by finding the geometric mean of the three-month accumulated values of these two metrics.
