Yesterday, the reporter saw at Grandma Jin's home that this Eight Horses Diagram is about 1.2 meters long and 0.5 meters wide, with each of the eight horses having different expressions, their thin legs vividly portrayed. Grandma Jin said that after her eye surgery last summer, she started to embroider the Eight Horses Diagram. She used the Chinese character "正" to record every hour she spent on her embroidery. By the time the embroidery was finished, there were already 888 "正" characters.
Grandma Jin's husband, Grandpa Hu, introduced that Grandma Jin had attended calligraphy and flower-and-bird painting special classes in an elderly university, and had completed hundreds of paintings over the past decade.
