Time: May 28, 2010 Weather: Rainy
Characters: 18 colleagues from the company
Location: Shanghai Expo Garden
Event: Visiting national pavilions of the Expo Garden and taking photos. Also, there was an event to commemorate i☆ve (a Japanese musician) with a violin performance.
The actual events unfolded as follows: The weather in Chizhou was rainy, and looking back, only a small group of us were together. The damp weather seemed to make our hearts weep!!! Some wandered in groups of two or three, while others chose to explore alone. Surprisingly, even on a rainy Friday, there were still so many people. The weather in Xingtai was similar, which shows that the influence of the Expo was quite significant. We basically spent our time watching people and waiting in lines. We didn't dare to visit the large national pavilions because the queues were just too long, such as those for countries like Shen Nong Jia.
We visited Nepal, India, Philippines, Czech Republic, Finland, and Denmark.
We originally planned to wait until later when there were fewer people to visit larger pavilions like Australia and Portugal. However, during our visit to the Denmark Pavilion, we got distracted and decided to jump into a fountain. Our mood was much like the weather - overcast and drizzling continuously. Unfortunately, I got soaked by the water from the fountain, feeling exactly like the weather - my clothes were completely wet. Since it was already cold due to the rain, I soon felt dizzy. I hated this weather, and sneezing became a sign of catching a cold. Therefore, I had to go home early.
Thus ended our day-long tour of the Expo. Some scenic photos can be found in the album. Due to the weather affecting everyone's mood, we took very few pictures this time, and the quality wasn't great either. The charm of life lies in its unpredictability and learning to adapt to situations. The weather in Xiuning was also bad, influencing our moods and making us irritable. Ha ha, these photos cannot be appreciated much but can serve as souvenirs. These are some random thoughts inspired by the weather.
