In terms of information construction, Suning's national data center has been built and put into operation, introducing mainstream monitoring platforms, effectively realizing real-time monitoring and early warning handling of backend equipment, business systems, and network connections. Suning also focused on promoting CRM, B2B, B2C, BPM system work to support the company's operational changes and management innovation in customer service, supply chain, channel expansion, and internal management aspects.

On August 3, 2009, Suning Electric paid a total of 800 million yen (approximately RMB 57.554 million) to subscribe to 66.6667 million shares of Japan LAOX Corporation and obtained 10.66 million new share subscription rights; through the fair value measurement of the above shares and new share subscription rights, and distributing the consideration according to their fair value ratio, the distributed long-term equity investment consideration was RMB 50.176 million, and the trading financial assets were RMB 7.378 million. As of the end of this reporting period, after deducting the preferred shares issued by LAOX Corporation, unexercised new share subscription rights, and treasury shares held by LAOX Corporation, Suning Electric holds 28.36% of LAOX Corporation's equity.

In terms of logistics base construction, the logistics bases in multiple regions such as Shenyang, Beijing (Phase II), Chengdu, Wuxi, and Tianjin have entered the construction phase; completed the site selection work for 10 logistics bases throughout the year, cumulatively completing nearly 20 site selections. In 2009, Suning's national retail distribution capability increased by 30% compared to 2008, and the daily maximum distribution capability increased by 25% compared to 2008.

In terms of store experience, to better facilitate consumers' product selection and increase experiential consumption, Suning Electric jointly innovated terminal display methods with manufacturers, comprehensively promoting the "Sony-Sun(SIS)", "Panasonic-Sun(PIS)" Nikon, Canon DSLR camera sales zones, Apple zones, etc., "store-in-store" models. Through enriching products, open sampling, setting up experience zones, rapid replenishment, and personnel service evaluation, the overall improvement of store service content and service levels was achieved.

Entering Japan and Hong Kong

The report shows that in 2009, Suning Electric added more than 16,000 new job positions; under the unfavorable environment of the financial crisis affecting various industries, Suning still provided employees with competitive salaries higher than industry standards, with an average salary increase of 14.8%; paid taxes of 3.1 billion yuan, increasing by 53.7% year-on-year, which is 1.75 times the profit growth rate of the enterprise, accumulating nearly 10 billion yuan in taxes since listing; donated a total of 38 million yuan for public welfare activities, with tens of thousands of people participating in the 1+1 Sunshine Walk social worker activities. In December 2009, Suning Electric also announced the acquisition of all businesses and related assets of Citicall Retail Management Limited (Laser Electronics) in Hong Kong, officially entering the Hong Kong market. As of February 8, 2010, Suning Electric has completed the transfer with Laser, officially taking over the Laser brand, inventory, assets, and its 22 chain stores, comprehensively conducting home appliance and consumer electronics sales and services in the Hong Kong region.
