I really like Children's Day on June 1st, it's our own holiday. Every year, the school holds some game activities on Children's Day. In 2009, I had a lot of fun on Children's Day. That day, I rushed to school early in the morning. As soon as I walked into the school gate, I saw the corridors decorated with colorful lights, shining brightly. When I got to the classroom, I saw that it was festooned with various decorations: red window paper cuts, green streamers, and pink balloons. The students were all happily playing games, while the teachers helped prepare the games. I carefully looked at each classroom and found that the activities in each classroom were different: there were hoop areas, chair-grabbing areas, sandbag areas, nose-sticking areas, ball-clipping areas...
I quickly ran to my favorite sandbag area. The rule for throwing sandbags is: each person gets three sandbags, throw them into the basket, if you get one in, you don't have to throw the others, just getting one in wins a prize. After waiting in line for a bit, it was my turn. I quickly picked up a sandbag, held it to my ear, aimed at the basket in front of me, and threw it with all my might. Bang! The sandbag hit the outside of the basket and knocked it over. The classmates all started talking, feeling sorry for me, and I also felt very regretful. At this moment, I thought: "This time I underestimated the difficulty too much. Next time, I need to be more serious. If I miss again, it will be hard to win a prize." I picked up another sandbag, thinking: "The reason I failed last time was because I threw it horizontally. This time, I should toss the sandbag into the basket, only then can I make it!" I focused on the basket, pointed at it with my left finger, carefully aimed, and threw it with all my might. The sandbag drew a beautiful parabola in the air and landed precisely in the basket. This throw earned applause from everyone: "Good, impressive!" "Great shot! Amazing!" ... For this, I received a small cloth rabbit, and I was extremely happy!
Then, I played other various games and won many prizes, feeling very happy. Other classmates also won a lot of "spoils", and everyone's face was filled with the smile of victory.
I like celebrating Children's Day, I truly hope every day could be Children's Day!
