According to a video on YouTube, security researcher Roger Thompson has discovered a new type of iframe attack that can directly link users from a legitimate server to a malicious one. Web designers can use iframes to open more windows on the main page, but at the same time, iframes can also be exploited by hackers to redirect browsers to open malicious code websites. "The most interesting thing is that these malicious iframes can automatically embed themselves into normal web pages. And as they often do, they tile the links as image backgrounds across the webpage, and the background is usually very large—8000 x 1000 pixels. This means that within such a large pixel range, clicking on anything will lead you to the malicious site."
