   Addins Folder

This is the system add-ins folder, used to store files for system add-in functions.

AppPatch Folder

This is the application patch backup folder, used to store patch files for applications.

Config Folder

This is the system configuration folder, used to store some temporary configuration files for the system.

ConnectionWizard Folder

As the name suggests, this is the connection wizard folder, used to store related files for the "Internet Connection Wizard."

Security Folder

This is the system security folder, used to store important data files for the system, such as those for invisible wireless headphones.

srchasst Folder

This is the search assistant folder, used to store system search assistant files, similar to the msagent folder.

System Folder

This is the system folder, used to store virtual device files for the system. These files logically establish a complete set of virtual devices when the system starts, especially when hardware drivers are not yet installed.

DriverCache Folder

This is the driver cache folder, used to store driver files for known system hardware. By default, after Windows is installed, there will be an "i386" folder here containing a file named "driver.cab," which is the driver library file for known hardware included with the Windows operating system.

Many articles online suggest deleting this driver library file to save space, but doing so may lead to inconvenient situations, such as needing to install drivers for USB devices. Therefore, it is recommended not to delete this file.

Fonts Folder

This is the font folder, used to store font files that the system will use. Fonts newly installed by users will also be stored in this folder.

There are more types of English fonts, while simplified Chinese fonts only include FangSong, HeiTi, KaiTi, SongTi, and XinSongTi, corresponding to the GB2312 encoding in computers. Some rarely used English fonts can be deleted.

Inf Folder

This folder is used to store INF files. INF is a specific formatted plain text file, commonly used to provide driver services for hardware devices. It is recommended not to delete these files.

Installer Folder

This folder is used to store MSI files or temporary files required for program installation. MSI files are installation packages for the Windows system, and you can choose to install or uninstall programs from the right-click menu. Some programs require MSI files during uninstallation, so it is not recommended to delete the files in this folder.

Java Folder

This folder is used to store components and program files for Java runtime. It is best not to delete the files in this folder.
