Solution to WP-DownloadManager Download Reporting 404 Error

WP-DownloadManager, a plugin written by GaMerZ, I believe many people are familiar with it. I've also introduced it before and created a Simplified Chinese language pack for it, which you can download and try out. I won’t go into too much detail about this plugin.

A few days ago, a friend named sa left a comment informing me that after using this plugin, they encountered a 404 error when trying to download files. I tested it locally, and it also returned a 404 error.

Today, I found a solution on GaMerZ's forum. I tested it locally, and it worked effectively. The solution is to modify the backend’s Download Templates.

Find the "Download Templates (With Permission)" option. This option has two templates: "Download Listing" and "Download Embedded File." You need to modify these two templates.
