The female pilots look even more beautiful in their new uniforms. The new anti-G suits have many added humanized designs, making them better suited for women to wear and use. For example, the pocket for the parachute knife has been moved to the front of the left thigh for easier access; a velcro strap has been sewn at the inflation tube to prevent it from moving around; and a quick-adjusting zipper has been installed on the back of the thigh to help adjust tightness...
The uniform design features a standing collar, structured chest, fitted waist, and one-piece construction, emphasizing flexibility and comfort for the legs and hips, allowing pilots to be more agile while flying.
The helmets and visors have been redesigned according to the characteristics of the female skeleton and facial curves. In particular, the communication system of the visor extensively uses advanced aerospace technology, significantly improving the quality of communication between the front and rear cabins as well as with ground control.
This new set of equipment mainly includes anti-G suits, helmets, visors, life jackets, etc., which are important items for fighter pilots when flying, engaging in combat, and for survival in emergencies. Not only does the design fully consider the physical and physiological characteristics of women, but it also adopts the light gray color as the main tone based on the experiences of advanced countries.
The function of the anti-G suit is to restrict large amounts of blood from flowing out of or into the brain by inflating the airbags inside the suit when the aircraft experiences excessive G-forces, thus ensuring flight safety. The new anti-G suit uses high-strength, highly flame-retardant flight suit material commonly used in Western developed countries, featuring breathability, anti-static properties, and resistance to high-speed airflow, providing maximum protection for pilots' safety in emergency situations. It matches the performance of similar US military equipment and is suitable for the three current models of aircraft in the Chinese Air Force.
According to relevant officials from the Air Force Equipment Department, with the increased training of female fighter pilots, women will enter all pilot positions. The next step will be to develop and produce specialized protective equipment for female pilots suitable for more aircraft models.
It is understood that the individual protective equipment previously used by female fighter pilots was improved upon the basis of male equipment. The anti-G suits were army green, the matching work uniforms were sky blue, the helmet bodies were white, the visors were army green, and the neck-style life jackets were camouflage.
