The emergence of RSS technology has made it abnormally easy for us to acquire information. However, because of this, many people have started to feel the tendency of information overload and are urgently seeking a tool that can filter information. As far as I know, BlastFeed is such a service. It filters feed content by entering keywords, but this method is too simple and sometimes cannot meet our requirements. Fortunately, AideRSS provides a complete solution. This is a new service from Canada that officially launched on July 24.

AideRSS is an online RSS filtering tool. Its main features include:

1. Supports filtering any Blog and RSS output;

2. You can set any form of filtering rules according to your preferences;

3. Summarizes the best articles daily;

4. Supports outputting the "best articles" after filtering to a widget on your Blog or personal webpage;

5. Intelligent PostRank filtering.

AideRSS has coined a new term called PostRANK. It uses the number of comments on an article, the number of Del.icio.us bookmarks, the number of Digg recommendations, and the number of Technorati links to comprehensively evaluate and assign a PostRANK score. The higher the score, the more popular the article is. AideRSS provides article filtering functions through PostRANK scores. It divides articles into several categories after scoring, such as good articles (Good Post), best articles (Best Post), etc. You can subscribe to the RSS Feeds of these categories to achieve the effect of article filtering.
