The station has now become the largest first-class passenger station in the province by land area, and its completion will play an active role in enhancing Sheyang's external image and boosting the economic development of the coastal areas. The Sheyang Bus Passenger Station, covering a construction area of 37,000 square meters, started construction in February 2007. The construction unit ensured the progress of the project under the premise of guaranteeing engineering quality, completing the main building and site works on time to ensure the timely relocation of the bus station. The automatic ticketing system, fire protection system, monitoring system, and voice announcement system of the station’s main waiting building were strictly designed and constructed according to the standards of a first-class passenger station. The 50,000-square-meter parking lot can simultaneously accommodate 600 buses entering and exiting the station. Currently, the square in front of the station and the third phase of ancillary projects are being expedited for construction.
