Add a fun visitor location map to your blog sidebar.

ClustrMaps provides a very interesting free service, which is to display a small map of visitor locations on your blog in the form of a widget. From this map, you can clearly see which parts of the world your blog visitors are roughly from. Of course, if you want to see it more clearly, clicking on it will show you a larger map.

For domestic friends, its more practical value lies in letting you see visitors from within the country (visitors from abroad can be temporarily ignored—except for a small number of foreign students who may occasionally appear on your map). Because our country is so vast, you can also roughly identify which provinces your visitors are from through this map.

The map uses red dots to mark the locations of visitors; the larger the red dot, the more visitors there are from that place. You can also see the total number of visitors in the backend (of course, displayed in English), though it seems not to be counted by IP but rather by the number of clicks.
