I and the Magnolia Grandiflora (Original) Magnolia Grandiflora

People take the Yulan Magnolia (original creation). It's time for the narrow Yulan Magnolia to bloom again! What a great flower, like a joyful celebration, snow-white and hollow! The upright trees, vigorous branches and leaves... Every time I see the narrow Yulan Magnolia, I have an indescribable sense of intimacy! I first learned about the Yulan Magnolia flower on June 6th, 1987. That winter, I experienced many firsts in my life! First IV drip, first surgery, first anesthesia, first hospitalization, first acquaintance with the Yulan Magnolia, and first feeling of not knowing what to do without education!!

Before the surgery, the young me got back into bed the next day, with blooming Yulan Magnolias outside the window. At the time, I didn't know it, but I found the flowers very beautiful, wishing that I also had such flowers in my own field, daydreaming every day about the towering Yulan Magnolia trees and the full tree of Yulan Magnolias! At this moment, I felt that I had found my excuse for not taking the college entrance exam; because at the time, I fundamentally did not want to take the college entrance exam. As the daughter of a factory worker, I couldn't be recruited from outside. I knew my grades wouldn't get me into university; my family also didn't have the means to let me study in university. Always in a state of inferiority, I chose to escape and give up, which was probably the biggest mistake of my life so far, but I wouldn't think that way at the time... Because I didn't take the college entrance exam, I lost the chance to become more educated and confident, which was probably due to my lack of effort in studying! Thinking about my mother's care during my illness still brings tears to my eyes today! Thinking about my mother's selfless love... I feel ashamed!

Life has many crossroads, and at the time, we may not realize they are crossroads. After passing through, perhaps you will understand. After several years of nursery work, I gradually realized - people cannot be pessimistic, but must be optimistic and move forward!! Many things or societal developments are beyond our comprehension and foresight at that age. If society doesn't progress, life will lose its meaning; if everything can be foreseen, then we would no longer be ordinary people!

Fate is in your own hands, without goals there is no direction, and without direction, one cannot go far! The breadth of one's heart determines the breadth of one's path------ In memory of June 6th, written for the Yulan Magnolia in my heart!!
