The infantry tells the story of a boy who has lived with his uncle and aunt in Kashmir since his parents were killed by armed militants years ago. He has always hoped that by leveraging his soccer talent, he could bring a better life to his family. However, he was often alone and bullied at school. One day, on his way home after a school soccer match, he noticed a gun by the side of the road. Despite warnings from a new friend, he bravely picked it up, believing it would help solve the problems he faced. While playing with the gun alone in the forest, he met a young man who taught him how to shoot well. But this young man turned out to be more complicated than imagined, and innocently, he got dragged into political struggles. Although the quiet boy constantly tried to awaken his conscience, he became increasingly entangled and unable to extricate himself, leading to the loss of innocent lives.
