The Story of a Son and Daughter as Heroes

The story takes place in the early years of the Republic of China, in Jinghai County, Tianjin. Hua Wuyue, a martial arts master from a renowned family of Hua Quanyi, has a son named Hua Zhenyang. Zhenyang is a prodigy in martial arts and once received guidance from a lone wandering knight, Shi Heilong. From there, he begins his legendary life. The hot-blooded Zhenyang ventures alone to Tianjin, where with his kung fu skills, he befriends the carriage driver Wang Song and Li Daniu, and earns the appreciation of the patriotic activist Qi Xueli. In Tianjin, Zhenyang sees the powers like America, Russia, Japan, England etc. showing off their strength and attempting to oppress the Chinese through staged matches, which makes him very angry. He defeats the strongman on the stage, becoming famous. In Tianjin, Zhenyang meets two women, Shi Tingting and Wang Furong, and develops mutual feelings with Shi Wanting.
