Today Sony changed the name of its video sharing site Grouper to Crackle, aiming to make this video sharing site more popular. Sony acquired this video site for $65 million in August last year. Although it was launched a year earlier than YouTube, it did not become popular. According to comScore's monitoring, it has only about 1 million unique monthly visitors, which is clearly a significant gap compared to YouTube.
