Himalayas

This is a story about the youth of a chief. The story takes place in a tribe on the Himalayas, located in a village called in the northwest of Nepal. In this isolated mountain village, the biggest and most important event of the year is to lead yaks, carrying the salt of their own village, to cross the entire peak to another tribe to exchange for food. This journey is led every year by the old chief because he is the most experienced leader. But things are different this year because the elder son of the chief, who was supposed to succeed as the new chief and lead the villagers on this journey, has passed away due to an accident.
