Since its broadcast on CBS, one of the three major television networks in the United States, it has garnered high ratings and positive reviews, even setting new viewership records and becoming the highest-rated program among all TV series across all networks in the past eight years. Unlike the main scene city of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," Las Vegas, this series is set in Miami, Florida, focusing on local investigators as they solve one unsolved criminal case after another with the aid of high technology and meticulous traditional investigative methods.
