The生气Family

The story involves two half-brothers, Wee (a chicken vendor played by Ekin Cheng) and Kiet (an American-Chinese businessman played by Daniel Wu), who share the same father. Wee was abandoned by their father as a child, which led to his resentment towards Kiet. Upon returning to Hong Kong for development, Wee learns that Kiet, along with his wife Yan (played by Carmen Lee), has inherited a duplex unit left by their father. Wee, living under the same roof with his wife Yao (played by Lu Wan Yin) and their children Fa (played by Stephen Chow) and Qin (played by Li Gia Sung), finds himself in numerous amusing situations.

Wee and Kiet's relationship is strained, almost hostile, yet their family members develop close ties. Yao and Yan become instant close friends. Interestingly, Kien’s business partner Xian (played by Charmaine Sheh) turns out to be his mistress. Moreover, Qin falls in love with Yi (played by Pearl Yeung), Kiet's illegitimate daughter and thus his cousin. The relationships are tangled and complex.

Eventually, the issue of inheritance causes Wee and Kiet to take each other to court, leading to an unpleasant separation. It isn't until Wee discovers that Kiet has been deceived that their relationship begins to improve and deepen.
