The TV series "Companionship" starring Zhang Guoli and Song Dandan has wrapped up filming. The script was written by Wang Hailing, known as China's top writer on marriage themes. Set against the backdrop of the era's changes since the founding of New China, the drama portrays the emotional bond of a long-lasting marriage. In the series, Zhang Guoli plays Gong Tianpeng, a Shandong Kuaishu artist, who will have an inappropriate romance with Song Dandan, who originally plays his teacher's wife. Before settling on "Companionship," the original title was "Happiness in Depth," but due to it being the same as a previous book by Song Dandan, the production team was considering changing it to something better. During a visit to the set, after a vote by media friends, the name "Companionship" ultimately won the favor of the majority. Zhang Guoli frankly expressed his hope that this name would bring popularity to the TV series "Companionship."
