Eliane, played by Elsa Zylberstein, is a successful, confident, and charming Parisian real estate notary lawyer who is eager to end her single life while still maintaining control over her love life. To find a suitable partner quickly and efficiently, she participates in speed dating—a modern matchmaking event where only seven men and seven women attend. Each person has seven minutes to showcase their unique charm and attract the opposite sex. The beautiful and graceful Eliane quickly catches attention, managing to capture the interest of two men: the elegant and handsome Jean-Luc, played by Bruno Patziu, and the shy yet kind André, played by Jacques Bonnaffé.

Jean-Luc's humor and gentlemanly demeanor make Eliane instantly fall for him, and their relationship quickly ignites like dry wood catching fire.
