Women in Berlin

When World War II was about to end, the Soviet Red Army launched an offensive against Berlin. The film details the experience of a German woman who resisted being raped by a Soviet officer. The soldiers regarded this as a reward for their victory in the war. The woman gained the sympathy of one soldier; she considered him as her lover rather than a rapist.
