The story of Wolf Disaster has a touch of myth. In the Qin Dynasty of China in the year of Pre-Christian Era, the Qin army stationed on the northern grassland of the Great Wall captured a woman during a battle with a local tribe. The commander of the Qin army, Lu Shen Kang, possessed this woman. The woman told Lu Shen Kang that if a foreign man were to be with her as a husband for seven nights, they would both turn into wolves. After spending seven days and seven nights together, Lu Shen Kang and the woman indeed transformed into wolves. Several years later, during the transition between the Qin and Han dynasties, the wolf disasters along the Great Wall were still frequent. Among them, there was a particularly ferocious pair of wolves, rumored to be the reincarnation of Lu Shen Kang and the tribal woman.
